Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh E winds will diminish this morning across the 
SE Gulf as high pressure builds into the Gulf. As the high moves E
of the area, fresh to locally strong SE to S return flow will 
develop Tue. Looking ahead, a cold front will enter the NW Gulf 
Wed, with strong N winds possible behind it. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.MON...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 28N55W to 25N64W, where it
transitions into a stationary front to 24N81W. A recent
scatterometer satellite pass show strong to near gale-force
easterly winds behind the frontal boundary. Seas are peaking near
13 ft to the east of the NW Bahamas. The frontal boundary is
forecast to weaken today and a new low pressure area to develop
off NE Florida by tonight. The low pressure will move NE into NW
Atlantic and strengthen, dragging a new cold front across the 
area on Mon. The cold front will stall Tue night from 28N55W to 
the the central Bahamas.

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, S winds
15 to 20 kt, shifting to NW 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 4 to
6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Slight chance of showers. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE 10 to
