Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from low pressure over
southern Louisiana to Veracruz will move across the Gulf through
Fri. Fresh to strong N winds and moderate to rough seas will 
follow elsewhere through Fri. Winds and seas will diminish from 
west to east through Sat night across the Gulf as high pressure 
builds in the wake of the front. Conditions will be quiescent 
across the Gulf Sat night through Mon morning. Looking ahead, 
expect fresh to strong S to SE return flow across the W Gulf on 
Mon and Tue. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Areas of
fog. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NW 15 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Isolated showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SAT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to S 5 to 10 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NE swell.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Ridging along 26N will shift east tonight, allowing 
SW winds to increase up to strong or near-gale between NE Florida 
and Bermuda ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front 
will move off the NE Florida coast Fri afternoon and will reach 
Sat morning from 31N59W to S Florida. On Sun morning, the boundary
will begin lifting northward as a warm front, ahead of another 
cold front moving off the NE Florida coast Sun night. The second 
cold front will reach from Bermuda to eastern Cuba by Mon 
afternoon, then start to stall from 31N55W to and from 31N60W to 
25N60W by Tue afternoon.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI NIGHT...S of 27N, W winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NE 15 to
20 kt after midnight. N of 27N, N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas
5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.SAT...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
