Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front off the Texas and Louisiana coast will
move little through mid week. Another push of cold air will move 
the front more rapidly Thu. This front will then move E across the
Gulf through Fri, bringing fresh northerly winds in its wake. 
Looking ahead, winds and seas will diminish Sat across the basin 
as high pressure builds over the region. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure along 28N is supporting gentle to
moderate breezes and slight seas. The high pressure will shift 
east through mid week ahead of a weak cold front that will stall 
along 30N through Thu. Looking ahead, SW winds may increase Thu 
night and Fri between northeast Florida and Bermuda ahead of 
another cold front. The cold front will move into the region Fri 
night and reach from 31N55W to the northern Bahamas by late Sat.
