Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure shifting eastward across the Gulf
States into the western Atlantic will sustain fresh to strong
easterly winds across the Strait of Florida through Sun. Afterward,
gentle to moderate easterly winds will prevail for the entire 
Gulf through midweek. 

.TODAY...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from near Bermuda across
31N66W to the northwest Bahamas. The northern portion should 
become a cold front again and reach from 31N60W to the central 
Bahamas by late this afternoon. It will weaken afterward and 
gradually dissipate on Sun. A tight pressure gradient will
support fresh to strong NE to E winds and building seas across
the Bahamas, including the Great Bahama Bank tonight through Sun.
Southerly flow will increase offshore northeastern Florida by Sun
night ahead of the next cold front forecast to enter the western 
Atlantic on Mon.
