Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front is expected to move off the
Texas coast later this afternoon. The front will bring
widespread gale force NW winds and rough to very rough seas
across most of the basin tonight through Fri. Gale-force winds 
will end by Fri night for most of the Gulf with conditions slowly
improving through the weekend and into early next week.

.SYNOPSIS...A 1015 mb low is off NE Florida near 30N81W with a 
stationary front draped along the eastern Florida coast. Fresh to 
strong winds and rough seas accompany this system. Conditions off 
the Florida coast and north of the Bahamas will improve today as 
the low lifts northward away from the area. A strong cold front 
will move off the Florida coast tonight. Strong to gale- force 
winds are expected Fri along the front with rough seas. Gale-force
winds will end by Fri evening with strong winds continuing on Sat
and improving by Sun.

.TODAY...S of 27N, S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, S winds
10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW to W in the afternoon. Seas 4 to
6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt
