Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front is expected to move off the
Texas coast Thu evening. The front will bring near-gale to gale
force NW winds and rough to very rough seas across most of the
basin through Fri. Gale-force winds will come to an end by Fri 
night with conditions slowly improving through the upcoming 
weekend. Currently, a 1016 mb low is located near 29N80W with a 
stationary front extending across South Florida into the Gulf of 
Mexico to 24N89W. The front will dissipate by Thu as the low lifts
northward away from the area. Fresh winds west of the front will 
gradually diminish tonight.

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE to S 5 to
10 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A gale warning continues in effect through tonight
for the northern semicircle of a 1016 mb low centered near
25N71W. NE gales and rough seas are expected in this area. To 
the NW of this low, a 1016 mb low is centered near 30N80W. 
Strong to near- gale NE winds prevail in the vicinity of this
low with moderate to rough seas. To the east, a stationary front
extends from 31N43W to 24N67W. Moderate to fresh NE winds prevail
N of the front with moderate to rough seas. The lows will 
dissipate by early Thu with gales diminishing by then. Winds will 
become southerly Thu ahead of a strong cold front expected to move
off the northeast Florida coast Fri. Expect NW gales east of 
northern Florida with this front along with rough seas.
