Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Karl is stationary over the
southwestern Gulf near 22.4N 94.4W 1002 mb at 5 AM EDT. Maximum
sustained winds are 45 kt with gusts to 55 kt. Karl will remain over the
southwestern Gulf through early Sat, then move inland over
southern Mexico and dissipate through Sun. Elsewhere, a weak 
cold front will enter the northwest Gulf Thu, move across the 
central Gulf Fri and Fri night, then stall from the Straits of 
Florida to vicinity Yucatan Channel Sat through Sun night before 
dissipating by late Mon. Looking ahead, a stronger cold front may
enter the northwest Gulf Mon night.

afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Broad high pressure over the area is shifting 
eastward ahead of a cold front that will move off the coast of 
northeast Florida tonight. The front will continue southeastward
and reach from Bermuda to the Straits of Florida by Sat night, 
then become mostly stationary along 24N Sun before dissipating 
through late Mon. 

.TODAY...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
