Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...In the wake of Hurricane Ian, an early season cold
front has formed just east of Florida. Cool, dry conditions are
accompanying the gentle to moderate N winds across the Gulf of
Mexico today. Fresh to strong NW winds are occurring in the SW
Gulf, which will diminish by tomorrow morning. Winds should then
remain tranquil for the next several days over the Gulf. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Ian north of the area near 32.4N 79.0W
980  mb at 11 AM EDT moving N at 12 kt. Maximum sustained winds
75 kt  gusts 90 kt. Ian will continue moving toward the north
away from our waters today, and winds and seas should diminish
north of the Bahamas by tomorrow afternoon. An early season cold
front has  formed east of Florida in the wake of Ian. This front
should weaken, but be reinforced by another cold front moving
off of the coast of NE Florida on Sun. The combined cold front
should reach  from near 31N70W to 25N75W by Mon morning and
dissipate by Tue.

.THIS AFTERNOON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. W to NW
winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 25 to 30 kt N of 27N. Seas
7 to 10 ft in NW to N swell. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
