.SYNOPSIS...Major Hurricane Ian is moving off the northwest Cuba
coast and into the southeast Gulf near 23.0N 83.6W 963 mb at 11 
AM EDT, moving N at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 100 kt with
gusts to 120 kt. Ian will move to 24.4N 83.4W this evening, 26.0N
83.0W Wed morning, 27.1N 82.5W Wed evening, then move inland over
west-central Florida to near 27.8N 82.1W Thu morning. Winds and 
seas will gradually diminish across the basin Fri and Sat as Ian 
continue to move northeast of the Gulf.

of 24N, NE winds 40 to 45 kt, increasing to 50 to 60 kt in the

.TONIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 24N, W to NW
winds 55 to 65 kt, diminishing to 35 to 40 kt late. N

.WED...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 24N, W to NW winds
