Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Ian is near 14.9N 78.8W 1002 mb at
5 AM EDT moving WNW at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 45 kt
with gusts to 55 kt. Ian will move to 15.7N 80.0W this
afternoon, strengthen to a hurricane near 17.3N 81.7W Mon
morning, and reach 19.1N 83.1W Mon afternoon. Hurricane Ian will
be near 21.0N 84.1W Tue morning, 23.0N 84.6W Tue afternoon, and
24.8N 84.8W Wed morning. Ian will change little in intensity as
it moves through the northeast Gulf of Mexico early Thu.
Conditions will deteriorate Mon night into Tue in the SE Gulf,
and Tue through Thu in the NE and portions of central Gulf as
Ian moves through the region.

showers and isolated tstms.

.MON NIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NE to E winds 15 to
20 kt, becoming E 40 to 45 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight. Numerous showers and scattered
tstms. 
.TUE...HURRICANE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. NE to E winds 60 to 70 kt,
increasing to 90 to 110 kt in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft,
becoming 8 to 13 ft in the afternoon.

tonight. Tropical Storm Ian is near 14.9N 78.8W 1002 mb at 5  AM
EDT moving WNW at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 45 kt  with
gusts to 55 kt. Ian will move to 15.7N 80.0W this afternoon, 
strengthen to a hurricane near 17.3N 81.7W Mon morning, and
reach  19.1N 83.1W Mon afternoon. Hurricane Ian will be near
21.0N 84.1W Tue morning, 23.0N 84.6W Tue afternoon, and 24.8N
84.8W Wed  morning. Ian will change little in intensity as it
moves through the northeast Gulf of Mexico early Thu. Although
the core of Ian is likely to stay west of the area, hazardous
marine conditions  in association with Ian are possible offshore
Florida Thu through  Thu.
