Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough across the northern and central
Gulf will linger through the middle of the week before dissipating.
Fresh to near gale force SW winds ahead of the trough and in deep
convection will continue to affect mainly the east-central and SE
basin through the remaining weekend. Areas of thunderstorms will 
also persist east of the trough. Otherwise, light to gentle 
variable winds are forecast Mon and Tue, increasing to moderate 
speeds W of 90W Wed and Thu. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure ridge will prevail from along 23N
northwest to just northeast of the the Bahamas through Sun. A 
cold front extending from 31N58W to 31N72W will extend from
27N55W to 25N66W Sun afternoon, and dissipate on Mon. Northeasterly
swell will follow the front, and spread across the area waters 
Sun through Tue, decaying Wed.
