Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The remnants of the Potential Tropical Cyclone Four
will continue to move inland today across NE Mexico and SE
Texas. Fresh winds and seas to 8 ft will dissipate through the
day. Weak ridging will prevail over the Gulf through the
forecast period, leading to gentle to moderate winds and slight
seas.  

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical surface ridge extends from Bermuda
to northern Florida. The ridge will change little through
tonight, supporting moderate to fresh easterly winds S of 25N
through the remainder of this weekend. Fresh to locally strong 
winds will pulse N of Hispaniola and the approaches of the 
Windward Passage through this morning. A weak surface trough will 
move westward from 65W to 75W on Mon. The trough will weaken the 
ridge, thus diminishing winds to gentle to moderate speeds. 

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
