Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Four over the far western
Gulf will not affect the eastern Gulf. Moderate E trades will
prevail across the Straits of Florida through the weekend, with
diminishing winds early next week as weak ridging prevails over
the area.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical surface ridge extends from Bermuda
to central Florida. The ridge will change little through Sun 
night, supporting moderate to fresh easterly winds S of 25N 
through the weekend. A weak surface trough will move westward 
from 65W to 75W Mon and Mon night. The trough will weaken the 
ridge, thus diminishing winds to gentle to moderate speeds. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft late in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or
less. Slight chance of tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight. Slight chance of showers.
