Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure centered in SE Gulf will
dissipate this evening. A cold front extending from the Florida
Big Bend to southern Louisiana will stall early this evening,
however showers and tstms associated with it will linger across
the NE gulf offshore waters through early Fri. Otherwise, a
tropical wave over northern Guatemala and southeastern Mexico is
forecast to  emerge over the Bay of Campeche on Friday, where an
area of low pressure could form. After that, additional slow
development of this system is possible while it moves NW over
the SW Gulf of Mexico. By Saturday night, the system is expected
to move inland over northeastern Mexico. Regardless of
development, moderate to fresh E to SE winds are expected across
the SW and west-central gulf this evening through Sun.

midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging building from the Azores High to the
Bahamas is expected to gradually shift northward to along 30N 
through Sat, then N of the area by Mon night. A cold front over 
the NE Florida coastal waters will stall across northern Florida
tonight and then gradually lift northward through Fri while
weakening. Active weather ahead of the front across the northern
Bahamas and its offshore waters will persist through tonight. 
Otherwise, gentle to moderate easterly winds S of 25N will reach
moderate to fresh speeds tonight through Sun as a tropical wave 
moves across the eastern and central Caribbean.
