Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure extends from the western Atlantic
westward along 29N to the N central Gulf will shift east-
southeast late Fri through Sun. This will allow for gentle to
moderate winds over the basin to weaken to light to gentle into
next week. Moderate NE to E winds will pulse to fresh during the
late afternoon and evenings off the NW Yucatan peninsula through
early next week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will
continue over the northern Gulf waters through Sat, then shift
across the NW Gulf Sun as a frontal boundary stalls near the
northern Gulf coast.  

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.SAT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NE in the afternoon.

.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E after

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A narrow ridge extends from the central Atlantic
W-SW to northern Florida along 29N tonight, and will weaken
through  early next week as a frontal boundary moves off the
eastern seaboard and stalls over the waters east of NE Florida.
Moderate to fresh  E winds S of 25N will veer to the SE and
weaken to gentle early Sat and change little into next week.
Light to gentle variable winds  are expected elsewhere through
the period. 

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N,E winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. N of
27N,SE winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft in E
swell. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.
