Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging over the northern Gulf will
continue through the next few days maintaining generally gentle
to moderate winds and slight seas. Due to local effects, fresh
to locally strong NE to E winds will briefly pulse during the
evening and night hours west of the Yucatan Peninsula through
Sun night. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge north of the area will change
little through early next week. Under the influence of the
ridge, gentle to  moderate east to southeast winds will prevail
N of 25N while moderate to fresh easterly winds are expected S
of 25. Fresh to occasionally strong winds will pulse north of
Hispaniola and  in the approaches to the Windward Passage during
the late afternoons and overnight hours through Tue night. An 
upper-level disturbance will track from E to W across the northern
waters through the weekend generating scattered showers and 
thunderstorms.

15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of
27N.
