Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will continue to dominate the Gulf waters
supporting gentle to moderate winds and slight seas into early
next week. Fresh NE to E winds will briefly pulse during the
evening hours west of the Yucatan Peninsula tonight, and again
Fri night due to a diurnal trough. An area of showers and
thunderstorms over the central Gulf will move westward affecting
the NW Gulf on Fri. Winds and seas could be higher near
thunderstorms. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft in the afternoon. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...The Atlantic ridge will continue to dominate the 
forecast waters. Gentle to moderate east to southeast winds and 
slight to moderate seas will remain over most of the area
through  early next week. Fresh to occasionally strong winds
will pulse  north of Hispaniola and in the approaches to the
Windward Passage  during the late afternoons and overnight hours
through Tue night.

and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
