Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge across the N Gulf will reorganize
along 28N Fri through Sat then sink S and across the central
Gulf through Mon. Gentle to moderate winds and slight seas will
prevail through this time. A low-level trough extending from
near 29N83W to 23N86W will move slowly westward and weaken
through tonight, accompanied by scattered moderate convection.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers and 
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Isolated showers 
and thunderstorms. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 10 kt in the morning, becoming variable less
than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

.MON NIGHT...S of 24N, E winds 10 kt. N of 24N, variable winds
less than 5 kt, becoming SE 10 kt late. Seas 2 to 3 ft in S 
swell. 

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from the NE Atlantic SW to the 
central Atlantic then W along 29N to northern Florida will 
persist through Fri night to produce moderate to fresh trade 
winds south of 25N. Winds will pulse to strong off the northern 
coast of Hispaniola each evening and night through Sat. A cold 
front will move slowly SE off the SE U.S. coast over the weekend
and produce fresh SW winds across the far NW waters early Sat. 
These fresh SW winds will shift eastward to between 68W and 78W 
Sat night through Sun night before shifting NE of the area Mon
and Mon night.
