Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extends from coastal
Mississippi to Southwest Florida and will drift westward over
the next few days. Otherwise, a weak surface ridge will dominate
the Gulf waters through the weekend and into early next week,
supporting mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight to
moderate seas.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.MON...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from near 31N75W southwestward 
to 27N80W will drift westward during the next few days. 
Elsewhere, Atlantic high pressure will remain centered across
the central Atlantic near 40N. A strong tropical wave will reach
near 60W late Tue evening, possibly as a tropical cyclone, then 
move through the eastern Caribbean Sea Wed and Wed night, and the 
central Caribbean Thu and Thu night. Expect a broad surge of winds
and seas with this wave as it moves W across the region. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and E
10 to 15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Slight chance of
showers. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
