Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extends from coastal Alabama
to near Tampa Bay and will meander across the NE Gulf through
Mon. A trough of low pressure over the NE Gulf will drift
westward over the the next days, with possible slow development.
Otherwise, a weak surface ridge will dominate the Gulf waters
through the weekend and into early next week, supporting mainly
gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.  

.OVERNIGHT...S of 24N, E winds 10 kt. N of 24N, NE to E winds
10 kt in the late evening and early morning, becoming variable
less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
.SUN...S of 24N, variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming N to NE
10 kt early in the evening. N of 24N, N winds 10 kt. Seas 3 ft or
less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE winds 10 kt in the late evening and early
morning, becoming variable less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from a 1017 mb low near 30N74W 
southwest to 27N78W and to West Palm Beach, Florida will drift
westward during the next few days. Elsewhere, Atlantic high 
pressure will remain centered across the central Atlantic near 
40N. A strong tropical wave will reach near 60W late Tue
evening, then move through the eastern Caribbean Sea Wed and Wed 
night, and the central Caribbean Thu and Thu night. Expect a broad
surge of winds and seas with this wave as it moves across the 
region. 

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms S of 27N.
