Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends from near the mouth of the
Mississippi River to SW Florida and will meander across the NE
Gulf through Mon. A low pressure area could develop over the N
Gulf early next week and drift westward across the north-central
or northwestern Gulf, with any development being slow to occur.
Otherwise, a weak surface ridge will dominate the Gulf waters
through the weekend and into early next week, supporting mainly
gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.

across the central Atlantic near 40N.

15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
