Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends from north Florida
southwest to 27N86W and to 24N89W. Scattered showers and a few
thunderstorms are near and along the southern part of the
trough. Otherwise, a weak surface ridge will dominate the Gulf
waters through the weekend and into early next week, supporting
mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.  

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt.  Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening frontal boundary just north of the NW 
waters will sink southward to 29N late tonight through early Sat 
and dissipate. Fresh SW winds over the NW waters will continue 
through late tonight. Elsewhere, Atlantic high pressure will 
remain centered across the central Atlantic near 40N. 

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N, SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, S to 
SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 4 ft
N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms N of 27N.
.FRI...S of 27N, SE to S winds less than 5 kt, shifting to E in
the afternoon. N of 27N, S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or
