Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the basin through the
week and into the upcoming weekend. Moderate to fresh SE to S
return flow will prevail in the NW Gulf through late this
morning due to a locally tight pressure gradient. Fresh to
strong winds will pulse off the northern Yucatan coast on Wed
evening. Otherwise, fairly tranquil marine conditions are
expected with the high pressure regime.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.WED NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong winds and high seas trailing Post- 
tropical Alex will continue to affect the NE zones, with wind 
diminishing by late this morning and seas gradually subsiding 
through mid-week. High pressure extends westward into the 
central Bahamas. High pressure will strengthen across the region 
by Sat to produce fresh S to SW winds to the north of 27N and west
of 70W. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N,S winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
N of 27N,S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to
