Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the basin through the
week and into the upcoming weekend. Moderate to fresh SE to S
return flow will prevail in the west-central and NW Gulf through
this morning due to a locally tight pressure gradient. Fresh to
strong winds will pulse off the northern Yucatan coast Wed
evening. Otherwise, fairly tranquil marine conditions are
expected with the high pressure regime.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends weakly westward into the central
Bahamas and will persist for the next few days. High pressure 
will strengthen across the region by Sat to produce fresh S to SW
winds to the north of 27N and west of 70W.

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 5 to

tstms.
