Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Alex located near 29.1N 76.3W 995 mb
at 5 AM EDT moving NE at 19 kt and away from the east coast of
Florida. Weak high pressure will prevail across the Gulf basin
today then will recenter across the eastern Gulf Sun night
through Tue, allowing moderate to fresh return flow to set up
across the western Gulf. High pressure will weaken Wed through
Thu.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 kt, shifting to E less than 5 kt after
midnight. Seas 3 ft in W to NW swell in the evening, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.MON...E to SE winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Newly classified Tropical Storm Alex located near 
29.1N 76.3W 995 mb at 5 AM EDT moving NE at 19 kt Maximum 
sustained winds remain 45 kt gusts 55 kt. Alex will continue NE 
and reach near 30.5N 74.0W Sun afternoon, reach near 32.0N 70.0W
 Sun night, then continue moving quickly NE to ENE and pass just
N  of Bermuda Mon afternoon. High pressure will build westward
into  the Bahamas to the south of Alex through early Tue then
weaken  through Wed night.

20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas
