Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging is building across the basin, with
gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow prevailing over the area
through the weekend. Fresh southerly winds will develop across
the NW waters by early next week due to a pressure gradient
building in the area.  

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SW to W winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...N to NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to E to SE
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical ridge over the western Atlantic will
shift eastward through tonight as a cold front moves across the 
southeastern U.S. Ahead of the front, winds off the NE Florida 
coast will become fresh tonight. Gentle to moderate winds will 
prevail across the rest of the region through early next week. 
Winds will also pulse moderate to fresh over northern Hispaniola
and the Bahamas during the weekend and into early next week.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
