Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the NE Gulf will maintain
moderate to fresh S to SE winds over the western half of the
basin and light to gentle variable wind across the eastern Gulf
through today. Moderate to fresh SE winds will continue over the
western Gulf through Sat, expanding to the eastern Gulf Thu
night through Sun as low pressure develops along Central America
and the Bermuda High extends into portions of the E Gulf.
Otherwise, fresh to strong E to SE winds are forecast to develop
off the northern Yucatan peninsula Fri into Sun night.  

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging across the area will slightly weaken
tonight into Thu as the tail of a front moves eastward to the 
north of 30N. The ridge will restore on Thu and support mainly 
light to gentle variable winds across the region through Sun 
night, except for moderate to fresh winds north of Hispaniola
and the Great Bahama Bank.

.THU...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
