Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the area will continue to produce
a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow through Wed. Fresh
northeast to east winds will pulse offshore the north and west
coasts of the Yucatan peninsula each night through Wed night,
with the exception of fresh to strong winds Mon night. Fresh
southeast to south return flow is expected over the NW and west-
central Gulf beginning on Wed night due to a tighter pressure
gradient over the western Gulf.  

.TODAY...Variable winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.MON...N to NE winds 10 kt Straits of Florida, and variable less
than 5 kt elsewhere. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 10 kt, shifting to NE to E late. Seas
3 ft or less. 
.TUE...Variable winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft in SE to S
swell.
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.WED...Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming E 10 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the area will change little
through Mon. The high pressure will shift eastward as a cold 
front approaches the waters off northeast Florida on Tue. The 
northern part of the cold front is expected to reach the 
northeast part of the area Wed and Wed night, while its 
remainder becomes stationary over the northern forecast waters. 
Moderate to fresh southwest winds will precede the front. Fresh 
to locally strong east to southeast winds within 120 nm north of
Hispaniola will persist through Mon night. 

.TODAY....SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and variable winds
less than 5 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft, except in E to SE swell 
N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms S of 27N.
