Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the area will continue to produce
a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow through the period. Fresh
northeast to east winds will pulse offshore the N and W coasts
of the Yucatan peninsula each night through Wed night, with the
exception of fresh to strong winds on Sat night.  

.OVERNIGHT...NE to E winds 10 kt in the late evening and early
morning, becoming variable less than 5 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SAT...Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming N to NE 10 kt
early in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SUN...NE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging is over the forecast area east
of the Bahamas, while a weak pattern is west of the Bahamas. 
Fresh to strong east to southeast winds are present from 20N to 
27N between 68W and the Bahamas. These winds will diminish by 
early Sat evening. The high pressure over the area will shift 
eastward through early next week as a cold front approaches the 
waters northeast of northern Florida. The northern part of the 
cold front is expected to reach the northeast part of the area Wed
and Wed night, while its remainder becomes stationary over the 
north-central and northwest forecast waters. Moderate to fresh 
southwest winds will precede the front.

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 
to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 5 to 7 ft N of
27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.SAT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 
winds 5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft, except in SE swell
N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN...S of 27N, SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, SW winds
less than 5 kt, shifting to E in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
