Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A modest cold front extends west-northwestward from
near Tampa, Florida to near New Orleans, Louisiana. It will
sustain moderate W winds across the E central Gulf until early 
this evening. The cold front should be east of the Gulf by Mon, 
following by a high building southward from the southeast U.S. 
which will bring moderate to fresh easterly winds across much of 
the Gulf through midweek next week.

.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SUN...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.TUE...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front curves southwestward from off the
Carolina coast across 31N78W to near Fort Pierce, Florida. It
will prolong fresh to strong SW to W winds off the Florida
coast, just north of the Bahamas through tonight. The front will
slowly move eastward, reach from 31N73W to near Miami, Florida on
Sun, and from 31N70W to the NW Bahamas on Mon. This will cause 
the fresh to strong winds to shift eastward into the west central 
Atlantic waters. A cut-off low is going to intensify off the 
Carolina coast Mon night through Wed, which should bring fresh to 
strong northerly winds and rough seas off the Georgia/Florida 
coast.
