Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging across the N Gulf will gradually
sink southward, promoting generally quiescent conditions over
most of the Gulf of Mexico for the next couple of days. A weak
cold front will move southward across the E Gulf Sat night
through Sun, before stalling and dissipating over the Straits of
Florida on Mon. Meanwhile, an overnight trough off Yucatan will
support pulses of fresh to occasionally strong winds off the N
and W coasts of Yucatan through Fri, and again Sun and Mon. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.SUN...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...NE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight.  

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Scattered showers and thunderstorms persist
northeast of the Bahamas, near a couple surface troughs in the
area. The  troughs are forecast to dissipate by Fri night. The
rest of the  area is dominated by the Bermuda High, which will
weaken and  migrate eastward Fri into Sat. Fresh to locally
strong S to SW  winds will develop north of the Bahamas starting
Fri night, ahead  of a cold front that is expected to move off
the Florida coast  Sun morning. The front will push southeast
Sun and Mon, and  reach from 30N70W to the Straits of Florida by
late Mon. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...N winds less than 5 kt in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight. 
.SAT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
