Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical ridge persists south of Bermuda, 
extending into the Gulf of Mexico. Mostly light to gentle winds 
will prevail through the end of this week. Gentle to moderate 
winds can be expected by the weekend. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough is located near the NW
Bahamas, producing a cluster of showers and thunderstorms. The
trough is forecast to meander over the next few days, enhancing
some storm activity near it. Fresh to locally strong southerly 
winds will develop off the NE Florida coast by Fri night. A cold 
front is expected to move off the Florida coast by Sat and push 
southeast through Sun.

.THU...S of 27N,E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,SW to W
winds 5 kt, shifting to NW less than 5 kt in the afternoon. Seas
