Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The subtropical ridge persists to the south of
Bermuda, extending into the Gulf of Mexico. Gentle to moderate
anticyclonic winds will prevail through Fri. The ridge will 
migrate eastward late this week into the weekend ahead of an 
approaching cold front, allowing winds to diminish. High pressure 
will rebuild over the basin by the end of the weekend.

tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.FRI...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough is located near the NW
Bahamas, producing a cluster of showers and thunderstorms. The
trough is forecast to meander over the next few days, enhancing
some storm activity near it. The rest of the area is dominated
by the subtropical ridge south of Bermuda. The high pressure will
weaken and migrate eastward late this week and weekend as a cold 
front exits the southeastern United States.
