Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Areas of fog are occurring along the northern Gulf
coast, with dense fog along the Texas coast. These conditions
are forecast to persist to early this afternoon. Fresh to
locally strong S winds in the south-central Gulf will diminish
tonight. A cold front will move off the Texas coast this
afternoon. Strong N winds and building seas will follow the
front, which will reach from the Florida Big Bend to the central
Bay of Campeche by Thu morning. Gales will develop on Thu
morning offshore Veracruz, Mexico, and continue through the
evening. The cold front will move SE and exit the basin by Fri
morning. High pressure will move E across the northern Gulf Fri
through the weekend.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong S winds offshore N Florida should 
generally continue into Thu night, before a cold front moves 
offshore the SE U.S. This front will reach from 31N72W through
the central Bahamas and central Cuba Fri night. Strong NW winds
will develop offshore N Florida behind the front this weekend.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt N of
