Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from Tampa Bay, Florida
near 28N83W to 24N93W to north of Veracruz, Mexico near 20N97W.
A pre- frontal trough continues to extend south of Tampa Bay to
25N86W with some strong thunderstorms along this feature. The
front will linger across the central and southern Gulf this
weekend. Strong thunderstorms may continue along the front
tonight through Sat. The front will dissipate early next week
with southerly return flow dominating the basin.

.SAT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Chance of
tstms. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front continues to push off the Florida coast,
extending from 31N77W to 29N81W. A pre-frontal trough extends 
south of the front from 30N76W to 28N80W with strong thunderstorms
moving along it. Strong southerly winds are noted ahead of this 
front and will continue moving across the northern waters as the 
front progresses eastward through tonight. The front is forecast 
to become stationary across the central waters Sat night through 
Sun. Scattered strong thunderstorms will continue to precede the 
front tonight and Sat, with showers and thunderstorms continuing 
through Sun. Another cold front will push southward across the 
basin Sun into early next week.

27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.SAT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and
