Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from southwest Florida to the
northern Yucatan peninsula. Fresh to strong northerly winds are
expected behind the front tonight in the extreme SE Gulf. The
front will exit the Gulf waters by tonight. Showers and
thunderstorms will continue along the frontal boundary through
tonight. A weak cold front has entered the NW Gulf. It will will 
reach the NE Gulf by Fri and exit the basin by Fri night. Fresh to
locally strong SW winds are expected behind the front. 

.OVERNIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Numerous
showers. 
.FRI...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly winds off Florida will 
persist through Fri ahead of a cold front that is currently moving
off the NE Florida coast. The front will reach from 31N75W to the
NW Bahamas and western Cuba by Fri morning, and from 31N66W to 
the central Bahamas and central Cuba by Sat morning. At this time,
a reinforcing cold front will extend from 31N75W to near West 
Palm Beach, Florida. This will bring another round of fresh to 
strong winds behind it. Afterward, a third cold front will move 
off the Florida coast and bring more strong winds across the same 
waters through Sun. 

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.FRI...S of 27N,W winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NW to N in the
afternoon. N of 27N,W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Scattered showers.
