Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Panhandle to
the western Yucatan Peninsula. This front will bring fresh to 
strong northerly winds across the area this afternoon. The front 
will exit the basin tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will 
continue along the front through this evening. A weak cold front 
will move over the SE Gulf late Fri and bring moderate winds with
it.  

.TODAY...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and slight chance of
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.FRI...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong SE to S winds off NE Florida are 
going to continue through this morning. A cold front will push off
the NE Florida coast later this afternoon. It will maintain fresh
to strong southerly winds ahead of the front and northerly winds 
behind it over the waters N of 27N through Fri. A second cold 
front will move into the western Atlantic late Fri, bringing 
another round of fresh to strong winds behind it. Afterward, a 
strengthening low pressure off the Carolina coast should prolong 
these winds through Sun. 

.TODAY...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and slight chance of
tstms. 
.FRI...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers.
