Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extending from high pressure off the
Carolinas to northern Mexico will continue to dominate the Gulf
through early Tue evening. This pattern will continue to support
moderate to fresh with locally strong easterly winds and higher
seas across the southern Gulf this morning. Winds and seas will
diminish across the basin by this evening. A front will enter the
far NW Gulf early Tue morning, and reach from the western Florida
panhandle to the eastern Bay of Campeche by late Tue. Fresh winds
accompanying this front will diminish by mid week.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front extends from 31N59W to 
eastern Cuba. Fresh to strong winds and rough seas are
persisting  along the front. The front will lift northward today
and  eventually dissipate later this evening. Rough seas in NW
swell  are expected to linger through Tue NE of the Bahamas,
then slowly subside through mid week. Large easterly trade-wind
swell will  persist east of the Lesser Antilles through late
Thu.
