Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from the Florida panhandle to just south of Tampico, Mexico is followed by strong north winds, with frequent gusts to gale-force in the NW Gulf. The front will shift eastward, then weaken as it reaches from near Ft. Myers, Florida to the central Bay of Campeche by Sat morning. Sustained gale- force northwest to north winds will develop in the SW Gulf near Veracruz this afternoon and evening.
