Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Panama City, FL to near
Tuxpan, Mexico near 20.5N97W. Scattered thunderstorms are 
occurring well southeast of the front over the Florida Straits and
Yucatan Channel. The front will move across the SE Gulf this 
afternoon, and exit the basin this evening. Strong N winds are 
expected behind the front. Fresh NE winds will then continue 
through Tue over the SE Gulf and the Florida Straits, increasing 
to fresh to strong Tue afternoon into Wed.

.TODAY...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 to 5 ft in the afternoon. Numerous showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...The next cold front is forecast to move offshore 
Florida late this morning. Fresh to strong winds are expected 
ahead of and behind the front, this afternoon through Mon morning 
to the north and northeast of the Bahamas. The front will extend 
from 27N65W to eastern Cuba late Mon night. High pressure will 
strengthen north of the area in the wake of the front, causing 
strong NE to E winds to expand over the entire area Tue through 
Wed night, along with building seas. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SW in
the afternoon. N of 27N,SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.MON...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
