Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from New Orleans, Louisiana to
NE Mexico near 23N98W. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms are east of the front. Strong N winds are forecast 
over most of the Gulf behind the front. Although the front will 
exit the basin Sun evening, fresh NE winds will continue through 
Tue over the SE Gulf and the Florida Straits, increasing to strong
Tue afternoon into Wed as high pressure strengthens north of the
area.

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers. 
.SUN...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft in the afternoon. Chance of showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.MON...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...The next cold front is forecast to move offshore 
Florida early on Sun. Fresh to strong winds are expected ahead of 
and behind the front, Sun afternoon through Mon morning to the 
north and northeast of the Bahamas. The front will extend from 
27N65W to eastern Cuba late Mon night. High pressure will 
strengthen north of the area in the wake of the front, causing 
strong NE to E winds to expand over the entire area Tue through 
Wed night, along with building seas.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Chance of
showers. 
.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft in the afternoon.
Scattered showers. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NW to N swell.
