A cold front extends across the NW Gulf this afternoon from just W of New Orleans to the Mexican coast along 20N96.5W. Gale force N winds behind the front S of 24N will spread S overnight as the front progresses SE. The front will reach from near Panama City, Florida to the central Bay of Campeche Fri morning, then begin to stall from SW Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula Sat morning.
