Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front is moving quickly across the
Gulf waters and will exit the basin by tonight. Gale force winds
are occurring across the west-central Gulf, including the
Tampico area, and these winds will spread S to offshore Veracruz
by this evening. The central and eastern Gulf of Mexico can
expect frequent gusts to gale force through Sat morning with
rough seas. Seas are forecast to build to 12-15 ft with the
strongest winds.  Marine conditions will improve by Sun. Then,
expect increasing southerly return flow over the western Gulf
Sun night into Mon ahead of the next cold forecast to move
across the NW Gulf on Tue.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A 1011 mb low pressure is located near 28N78W with a
stationary front extending eastward across the N waters. Fresh to
strong E winds are N of the frontal boundary. The front will lift
northward as the low pressure moves N of the forecast area by 
tonight. The attendant cold front will reach from 31N76W to south 
Florida by this evening, and from 31N72W to central Cuba by Sat 
morning. Strong to gale force winds and building seas of 16-20 ft 
are expected behind the cold front tonight and Sat. Winds will 
diminish below gale force on Sun, but large seas will persist E of
the Bahamas through at least Mon.

.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 20 to
30 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. 
.SAT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 25 to 35 kt N
of 27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 11 ft N of 27N.
