Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure that had been in the far eastern Gulf
has moved E of the area into the Atlantic, with a surface trough
extending from this low across the Florida Straits and to the
Yucatan Peninsula. This trough will dissipate tonight. To the
north, a stationary front from the Florida peninsula extending
into the NW Gulf will also dissipate tonight, with fresh NE
winds N of the front diminishing into Thu. A strong cold front
will move into the NW Gulf Fri, then race through the basin by
Fri night, bringing strong to near gale force winds to much of
the basin into Sat. Gales will develop offshore NE Mexico late
Fri, and spread S to offshore Veracruz Fri night.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front has now stalled from west of Bermuda to 
near Cape Canaveral, Florida, with fresh to strong NE winds behind
it. This front will gradually dissipating into Thu night. Low 
pressure between Florida and Bermuda will move NE through Fri, 
before exiting to the north, as another stronger cold front moves 
off the SE U.S. coast Fri night. Strong winds are expected behind 
this front, with gales possible Sat N of 28N. 

.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers. 
.THU...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 20 to 25 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers. 
.THU NIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...S of 27N,W winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N,NE winds 10 to
15 kt, shifting to SW 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 to
5 ft. Showers likely. 
.FRI NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W to NW 20 to 25 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to 5 to 7 ft after
