Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Complex low pressure over the eastern Gulf will
weaken and move inland into Florida by tonight, with strong to
near gale force winds in the north-central and NE Gulf gradually
diminishing. A strong cold front will move into the NW Gulf Fri,
then race through the basin by Fri night, bringing strong to
near gale force winds to much of the basin into Sat. 

.TODAY...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NW to N 15 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW in the afternoon.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move S into the area tonight, then 
stall along 28N into Thu, before dissipating. Low pressure will 
also emerge off the South Florida coast Thu, then meander over the
NW Bahamas into Fri, before lifting northward, as another 
stronger cold front moves off the SE U.S. coast Fri night. This 
front will bring near gale force winds and rough seas behind it 
for the weekend. 

.TODAY...S of 27N, S winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, SE to S winds 5
to 10 kt, shifting to E 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Seas 3 ft. 
Scattered showers and slight chance of tstms. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers. 
.THU...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 5 to 7 ft in NE swell. Chance of showers.
