Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through Wed.
Fresh southerly return flow will set up across the western Gulf
today ahead of the next cold front forecast to emerge from the
coast of Texas by Wed night. The front will reach from near
Mobile, Alabama to Brownsville, Texas on Thu morning, and from
northern Florida to near Veracruz, Mexico by Thu night. Fresh to
strong northerly winds and building seas are expected in the
wake of the front, with gale conditions possible over the
west-central and SW Gulf Thu through Fri.  

.TODAY...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from near Bermuda to eastern
Cuba near 20N74W. Gale force winds are still noted on either
side of the front and mainly across the waters N of 28N between 
62W and 77W. These winds are expected to diminish below gale force
by this morning. Large seas will continue to affect the N waters 
through tonight and will gradually subside from W to E. The front 
will move across the SE waters today, then begin to lift N by 
tonight into Wed while dissipating. High pressure will follow the 
front. The next cold front is forecast to move offshore northern 
Florida by early Fri. 

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and
4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, N to NE
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.WED...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
