Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging over the far western Gulf
dominates the basin. Fresh to strong NW winds will continue over
the NE Gulf through midday before diminishing. Seas will
gradually subside from W to E today, with seas under 12 ft over
the SE Gulf by early afternoon. The next cold front is forecast 
to emerge from the coast of Texas Wed night and reach the SE Gulf
on Fri. Fresh to locally strong northerly winds and building seas
will follow the front.

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 13 ft in W to NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft in NW swell.
.TUE...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft in NW swell. 
.TUE NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N70W to the central 
Bahamas near 24N75W into eastern Cuba near 21N78W. Strong to near
gale force winds will persist north of the Bahamas through this 
afternoon, with fresh winds through tonight. Seas will gradually 
subside from W to E through Tue night. High pressure will follow 
the front. The next cold front is forecast to move offshore 
northern Florida Thu night.

of 27N. Frequent gusts to gale force north of 30N. Seas 7 to 10 
ft in NW swell.
