Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Tampa Bay, Florida to
Cancun, Mexico. A squall line with strong thunderstorms is just
ahead of the front. Gale force W to NW winds are occurring over
the NE Gulf of Mexico behind the front. Strong to near gale
force NW winds are occurring elsewhere behind the front. The
front will exit the basin this afternoon. Gale force winds will
continue over the NE Gulf into this evening. Trailing fresh to
strong winds and rough seas in the eastern Gulf will gradually
diminish on Mon. Conditions are forecast to improve on Mon as
high pressure builds over the region. A new cold front is
forecast to emerge from the coast of Texas Wed night and extend
from the Florida Big Bend to Tampico, Mexico Thu night.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will emerge off the coast of Florida
later this morning. A squall line with strong thunderstorms is
occurring with the front. Gale force S winds are already 
affecting the offshore waters of Florida north of 27N, ahead of 
the front. Expect gale force winds to continue on both sides of
the front as it moves eastward through tonight. Strong to near 
gale force winds will then continue to affect the waters north of
the Bahamas through Mon. The next cold front is forecast to enter
the NW offshore waters Thu night.

.TODAY...S winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and S 30 to 40 kt N of 
27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in SE to S swell. Scattered showers and 
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 25 to 35 kt
N of 27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W swell. Scattered showers. 
.MON...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and W 20 to 25 kt N of
