Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate NW winds over the far eastern Gulf will
continue through the late morning hours today before diminishing.
A strong cold front is forecast to enter the western Gulf by Sat 
morning. The front will exit the eastern Gulf Sun afternoon. 
Strong to near gale force NW to N winds will follow the front, 
with gale-force winds expected for the northeastern Gulf, Sat
night through early Sun.

.TODAY...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 5 to 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 kt, shifting to SE less than 5 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft in NW swell. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming S to SW 25 to 30 kt
with frequent gusts to gale force after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 
ft,building to 6 to 8 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and 
isolated tstms.
.SUN...W winds 20 to 30 kt with frequent gusts to gale force early.
Seas 8 to 13 ft in W to NW swell.
.SUN NIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 10 to 15 ft in W to

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends from 31N73W to the central 
Bahamas. Gale force W to NW winds are also occurring near the 
surface trough, north of 28N. Strong to near gale force winds and
building seas across the waters N of the Bahamas will continue 
through today and diminish tonight as the trough moves
northeastward. Marine conditions will briefly improve on Sat 
ahead of a cold front forecast to emerge off the coast of Florida 
on Sun morning. Strong S winds will start affecting the waters
east of Florida Sat night, rapidly increasing to gale force early
Sun morning. Near gale to gale force winds will affect the waters
N of 27N through early Mon morning.
