Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A developing low pressure system E of Florida will
support fresh NW winds over the eastern Gulf tonight into Fri
morning. Southerly return flow will set up over the western Gulf
by late Fri ahead of a strong cold front forecast to enter the
Gulf region by Sat morning. Strong to gale force winds and
building seas are expected in the wake of the front Sat through
Sun. Fresh to strong southerly winds will prevail ahead of the
front forecast to move SE of the area by Sun afternoon.  

...GALE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE...

.TONIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt, diminishing to 5 to 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE late.
Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming S to SW 25 to 30 kt
late. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft late. 
.SUN...W winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A large area of low pressure is developing E of
Florida. This system will bring gale force winds and building
seas across the waters N of 27N tonight and Fri. The associated 
cold front will move across the SW N Atlantic through Fri. Marine 
conditions will briefly improve on Sat ahead of the next cold 
front forecast to emerge off the coast of Florida on Sun. Strong 
to gale force winds are expected on either side of the front on 
Sun and Sun night.

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W to NW 20 to
25 kt late, Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 5 ft late. N of
27N, W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt, increasing to 25 to 30 kt late,
Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI...NW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NW 20 to 30 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. 
.FRI NIGHT...S of 27N, NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, Seas 3 to 4 ft,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. N of 27N, NW winds 15 to 20 kt,
becoming NW to N 5 to 10 kt late, Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to
3 to 5 ft late. 
.SAT...W winds less than 5 kt,  shifting to S in the afternoon.
